Analysis | Spectral library

We detect and identify microplastics as small as 1 µm (0.001 mm) and are capable of determining their polymer type, size, and mass, within any type of sample matrix.

Analyses are executed through the integration of our specialized computer-vision software, combined with automated Raman microspectroscopy, enabling the chemical identification of tens of thousands of particles within a single sample. This approach not only significantly reduces the potential for operator bias but also provides you with more and better data.

With a strong foundation in academia, we acknowledge the importance of maintaining proper laboratory conduct, including rigorous quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) standards.

Our microplastic reference materials cover a wide range of particle shapes, polymer types and analytical applications. From environmentally relevant microplastic particles (10–1000 µm; fragments, fibers and beads) to precisely defined multi-polymer samples and Py-GC-MS calibration kits, our products support method development, validation, toxicology stidues and other routine microplastic analyses. Materials are available across more than 25 polymer types and in formats suited for both particle-based microplastic studies and polymer mass quantification.
