Versatile microplastic reference materials

EasyMP™ is our series of affordable, customizable, and environmentally relevant microplastic reference materials.

The EasyMP™ product range includes microplastic fragments, fibers, and beads, available either dispersed in liquid or supplied in dry (neat) powder format. These materials are designed to support method development, recovery testing, and general microplastic research.

EasyMP™ materials are prepared to ensure good homogeneity and distribution consistency, with a relative standard deviation (RSD) typically below 20% for particle counts.

Each purchase includes a comprehensive Certificate of Analysis (COA) providing detailed information on particle characteristics, including sorted and raw data.

A single 30 mL or 100 mL sample provides numerous dosages, making EasyMP™ an economical solution for laboratories conducting multiple experiments or routine testing.

Assortment

EasyMP™: Single-polymer samples

EasyMP™: Mixed polymer composition samples

Precision on the principle of simplicity

Critical-angle darkfield illumination (CADFLI) microscopy is used to extract the morphological information of individual microplastics across four subsamples, enabling the determination of the particle concentration in your unique sample.

The morphological data includes: Feret diameter, minimum and maximum axes, surface area, volume, mass (learn how mass is calculated), and other relevant parameters. Your data is sorted and presented in the most comprehensive manner and is available in the acompanying certificate of analysis (COA).

30 mL self-dose bottle

From €299.95 - €399.95

To offer you optimal freedom and flexibility in advancing your work, EasyMP is available in 30 and 100 mL self-dose glass bottles, and come with a precise, built-in glass pipette that can hold up to 1 mL of solution, making dosage and administration both repeatable and convenient.

Your microplastic particles are suspended, at known concentrations with less than 20% error (n = 4), in pure ethanol (95 vol.%) OR in Water w. Ethanol (20 vol.%) + Tween 20 (0.05 vol.%) for optimal particle dispersion and sample longevity. While both solutions deliver identical particle dispersion and sample preservation, your choice depends on specific application requirements. Pure ethanol solution ensures maximum flexibility for sensitive analytical protocols and allows indefinite preservation, while our water with ethanol (20 vol.%) [With 0.5 vol.% phenoxyethanol for improved preservation] + Tween 20 (0.05 vol.%) formulation provides significant shipping cost savings as a non-hazardous material, with a shorter shelf life of up to one year.

Shake the bottle and squeeze the pipette-head repeatedly to achieve homogenization prior to each dose. A single 30 mL or 100 mL sample provides numerous dosages; ideal for supporting a broad range of experiments.
